The laser targets skin lesions such as skin pigments and hair follicles, with an action depth ranging from the epidermis to the superficial dermis. Melanocytes rich in melanin are located at the dermo-epidermal junction. Short-pulse laser shatters melanin clumps into fine melanin particles, which are then metabolized and excreted to remove superficial pigmentation. Based on the extended selective photothermolysis principle, the laser heats the vascular walls surrounding the target tissue and destroys hair follicle stem cells by heating the hair follicles, thereby achieving vascular removal and hair removal.
